As a Bring-Your-Own-Tutor for your school, there are a few steps you need to take before you begin tutoring:
Please set your password and log in, then turn on tutor mode by clicking your name in the upper right corner and then clicking the “Tutor Mode” toggle to on.
Add a profile picture. This simple step can go a long way in helping your students recognize you.
Once you are logged in with tutor mode on you can review the Tutor Handbook and the Code of Conduct.
To familiarize yourself with the platform, we recommend exploring the the demo Lesson Space and watching this short video on the different Lesson Space features.
Students will find you for a tutoring session using a separate section on the right side of their dashboard called “School Tutors”. From there, they can select you and send you a direct message asking for a session. Once you have that direct message, the student can request a session directly with you. You both will have to be present at the same time to start the session.
