If your sound or microphone is not working in the Lesson Space, please ensure that you have enabled audio/video on your browser.
Additionally, if your audio and camera are not working, please ensure that you do not have any add-ons or plugins, as they can cause issues. If you do have any add-ons or plugins downloaded, please check your settings to ensure they are not blocking your camera or audio.
Enabling Audio/Video on Chrome:
1. Click the icon on the leftmost side of the address bar when you are on https://tutor.peardeck.com/.
2. Click on Site Settings. Make sure both ‘Microphone’ and ‘Camera’ are ‘Allowed by you’.
Enabling Audio/Video on Safari:
On your Mac, choose the Safari menu and select Preferences
Select Websites
Select Microphone
Select the checkbox next to the website to allow it to access the microphone
Select Camera
Select the checkbox next to the website to allow it to access the camera
Enabling Audio/Video on Firefox:
Click the Menu button and select Preferences
Click Privacy & Security from the left menu
Scroll down to the Permissions section
Click the Settings button for the Microphone option
Enter the website URL in the Search field for the site that you want to access your microphone
Press the Enter key.
Click the Save Changes button.
Click the Settings button for the Camera option
Enter the website URL in the Search field for the site that you want to access your camera
Click the Save Changes button.
